CECLC, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit membership organization. Founded in 1990, the Cesar E. Chavez Leadership Conference is the largest Latino student leadership conference in the Pacific Northwest. The mission of CECLC, Inc. is to instill in our Latino youth the value of education; which nurtures mind, body and spirit in order to develop a social consciousness that empowers them as leaders for social justice and civic responsibility in the greater community.
Objectives:
- to develop leadership skills
- to motivate students to complete and continue their education
- to strengthen self-confidence
- to create opportunities for Oregon's Latino students to build relationships and networks
- to be respectful and inclusive of all people
The continued success of our programs relies on the generosity of corporate sponsors, foundations, individuals, and contributors to our Scholarship Fund. Whether you are an individual or represent a business or other institution, you can help to ensure that CECLC continues to have the resources to support our future Latino leaders.
